Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be entertained for unintended donations. In the unlikely event of an erroneous donation or if the donor wishes to cancel their donation, we will respond to the donor within 7 working days of receiving a valid refund request from the donor.
The timely refund of the donation will depend upon the type of credit card/banking instrument used during the transaction. The donor will have to send Shaagird Foundation a written request for a refund within 2 days of donating to Shaagird Foundation’s email contact@about.shaagird.org along with:

Proof of transaction: Clear proof of the deduction of the donation amount from your account.

Physical receipt return: In cases where the official tax donation receipt has already been issued, the donor must return the original physical receipt to us at our registered office address.

If you allow us to store your credit card or banking information for future support (such as recurring monthly sponsorships), such information is securely retained exclusively by licensed payment service financial institutions. Shaagird Foundation partners only with premier financial institutions that strictly adhere to global industry security standards (PCI-DSS) for safeguarding financial data.
