Ensuring Operational Continuity Through Your Support
A growing organization comes with ongoing responsibilities. To continue serving our children with care and consistency, 30% of all donations will be allocated in the current financial year (2025–2026) towards essential operational needs. This includes organisational overheads necessary for continuity and delivery.
A significant portion of this allocation will go into the development, maintenance, and security of our website. Shaagird functions heavily through its website from child sponsorships to communication. This aims to better serve both our students and our sponsors, creating a bridge that strengthens this digital space, so it remains secure, accessible, and meaningful.
Gradual reduction of management costs
We are deeply committed to becoming more efficient over time. Starting next year (2026-2027), this percentage will be reduced by 3% annually, until only 9% of your funds is used for operational expenses by the year 2033. This gradual reduction reflects our long-term commitment to maximising the impact of your donations. By steadily decreasing administrative costs, we aim to channel a larger share of your contributions directly toward educational interventions that transform the lives of underprivileged children.

Breakdown of Donation Usage: These reports will include a clear breakdown of how donations are allocated across programs, administrative needs, and infrastructure.
Open Access: Reports will be made available on our website and shared periodically with our donors.
Academic Report Cards: Sponsors will also receive periodic academic report cards of the children they support, a small but meaningful way to witness their growth.
Regular Program Updates: You’ll stay informed through timely updates that go beyond data, sharing real stories, challenges, and the tangible impact of your generosity.
